| With over 40 years of experience providing help to clients and other professionals in the mental health field, I am a counselor with compassion, knowledge and solutions. I attended graduate school on scholarship, interned at Lackland AFB Mental Hygiene Clinic and the Bexar County Child Guidance Center. I was director of clinical services at The Oaks, a Brown Schools residential treatment center in Austin, Texas. I also served as administrator for the Daniel Memorial Treatment Center in Jacksonville, Florida as well as the San Marcos Treatment Center in San Marcos, Texas. While with Healthcare International Inc., I was involved in the establishment of new hospitals in Hawaii and several locations in Asia and the Pacific rim. |

The focus in my practice is the family and marriage. I see
children only as members of the family. Often, married couples
wait too long to begin counseling. One spouse may have
already decided to get out of the marriage. Make no mistake,

I am married with three children, three stepchildren
and ten grandchildren. I have had the opportunity

| My practice is Christ centered, believing that we are transformed by God. I believe that there are biblical solutions to marital and relationship problems, depression, anxiety, fear and stress. Right and wrong are determined by scripture. I believe that family is the cornerstone of civilization and the marriage is the cornerstone of family. I know that prayer changes things. |
